cool edit pro question

i cant figure out how to convert my mixdown to mp3, i only know how to convert it to wav and ra. and when i tried to save it as an mp3 it just saved it as raw data and it wouldn't play in my mp3 player, so can someone tell me how to save as mp3 or tell me where i can get a good wav to mp3 converter? thanks.

I believe that, for CE Pro, you need a plugin. Download this at www.syntrillium.com.

For Cool Edit 2000, it's a standard that you can save it as a MP3.

There are also small applications which convert your .wav files easily to Mp3.
