Chop and Screw on the CPU...

i have a question.



lets say you have two records that are the same


however you start the second record at the third beat of the 1st record

Can someone help me figure out when and for how long to move the crossfader?


another dude told me to move the cross fader on the three, however if this is true then when do you move the crossfader to the original posistion.


also do get the chop sound does the crossfader have to be centered or move from left to right and then right to left.
 
Chopped and Screwed...

One good program to use for this style of music is Virtual DJ. I have chopped and screwed a ton of things using this program. One of the good things about this program is you can use adjust the speed of the song slowing it down and giving it the "screwed" effect. from there you can use different cue's that will bring you back to the downbeats that you need. To get a listen to alot of the old things that made screw music what it is today, you may want to see if you can download and listen to alot of the old music that SwishaHouse did.
