Burn you own VINYL

Hey,

has anyone seen the new product from Vestax that allows you to record your own LPs? Personally, I think this is a great idea and is gonna do wonders for home recordists. Could you imagine, just finishing up a track and handing it to a DJ that same day to test out on a crowd? Not to mention, just getting a buzz started for you/your group. I just wanted to know what others thought about it.

Them joints...

They cost too much for most people, and as I understand it, the vinyl runs more along the lines of a test pressing (acetate) than a "real" record. I'd just as well burn a CD (BLASPHEMY!!!!!!!!!) and cut it to shreds with a cdj 1000 or some shit.

That being said, if I had the cheese (and it was really available - which no vestax dealer I know of says it really is), I'd get one. Better wax & weed than 'istols & greed...
