I've got a big problem and Spectrasonics support has been no help with fixing it.
I just got their big bass VST, Trilian. I loaded it up into my DAW (Sonar) which is using ASIO4All. I get no sound from Trilian, and in fact, nothing works (on anything) when I have Trilian loaded. Pressing play on Sonar does nothing, the timeline won't even move. If I remove Trilian everything works as normal.
Now, I noticed something odd in the ASIO4All tray icon. When I first load Sonar it shows the pause icon. Whenever I load a VSTi that changes to a play icon. However, when I load Trilian it changes to a pause icon... Also, whenever I hit play on Sonar with Trilian loaded, I see the ASIO4All tray icon flicker to play for a split second before returning to pause.
I can't seem to find any info on what the play/pause icon really means and how I might be able to fix this. Any ideas?
