Setting up PC for recording Guitar/Vocals

Hey,

Could you guys help me out with your knowledge.

I have a P450Mhx and 8GB HDD with 64MB RAM [soon upg. to 196MB].

I have an Addonics SV550 soundcard which by the lokos of it uses the Yamaha chipset.

I have three outputs on it.

I am interested in how I can record electric guitar and also vocals.

I do have a computer mic and a 1/8" 1/4" adaptor. I also have cables.

What else do I need?

Also, I heard someone mention to me about Quartz Audio Master software for recording.

Any other help??

are you looking to record electric guitar and vocals at the same time? that would rock.
