I have a chance to buy a Pro Tools Recording Studio for a good price. I have tons of analogue half inch tape that I want to convert to digital, and this seems a good chance to do something about it. What else would I need to buy if I got it?

Your computer interface will need as many inputs as there are tracks/outputs on your 1/2" analog tape.

If you have an 8 track reel to reel, you'll need an 8 input interface to the computer.
