newbie here...plz help

How do I turn off the light reverb I hear in my soundcard. It's just the basic built in sound that came with my pc. I'm splitting trax between left and right but still hear a little bit of bleed over from the reverb.
It's a C-Media AC97.

Without more specifics, all i can give you is a basic run down of what to do.
You need to find the C-media specific sound panel/software. If there is a reverb thats on all the time, there should be a place to disable the software-based DSP or reverb effects.
