Hey guys..
Just wondering if anyone can help me set up my mbox 2 the way I want it to work with my tascam m50 console. It's kind of new for me wiring a desk like this!
The way I currently have it set up is the outputs of protools going to the mon ins on the m50 so I can use the mon button to mute the speakers when I record through headphones. I then go straight in to protools with any mics, keys or drum machines.
The way i would like to be set up is as follows;
Outputs 1/2 of mbox to go to m50
Mic inputs (xlrs) 1/2 on m50 go to 1/2 on inputs of protools ( d.I ) in so I can still go straight into the mbox with Xlr if need be
Outputs of m50 and what is coming from protools go to monitor speakers, with the option of also adding another pair of monitors I can switch between.
If anyone could help with the routing of this it would be incredible.
Embarrassingly, I can't even get mics to come through going straight into my m50 and there is no sign of a signal.
