i'm having a hard time finding out information on equipment before i spend a massive amount of money. I have a motu HD192 interface unit. The only problem i have with it is it boasts that it can do 12 channels simultaneously. it can but it can't do them separately. it does it in banks so really you can do 6 channels separately. so while being upset about that, i bought a focusrite isa428 as i needed one anyway. come to find out you can buy an aditional a/d to d/a card that does it at 192k. and you can use 2 isa428's with 1 card for 8 channels of a/d to d/a conversion. but my question is this, is it going to group it like the motu HD192? or am i going to get 8 separate digital channels? and if they are separate, what card do i use to connect to my computer?
