While reading advertisements from on-line music retailers this morning I saw that Roland now has a $49.00 USB audio interface called the UA-11. I'm only posting this because I realize that some people are on limited budgets or are new to recording, and not sure yet if they want to spend a lot of money on something that they're not sure they'll still be doing in a year. Anyway, if you encounter someone looking for a cheap interface, you might suggest this one.
