I'm thinking of buying a Yamaha 01v digital mixer. What is the easiest and least expensive way to connect this to my computer though? I know it can connect to control the mixer through the computer, but I'm looking to record the digital audio through the mixer and onto the computer. any ideas?

Hey. I treid to look up your mixers i/o configuration, but yamaha let me down... so im kinda guessing. but here goes.
Its got either ADAT or TDIF 8-channel out(s), (or both), right?? If so, you can get a soundcard with the same ins... hook them together and WHA-LHA youre there. Your mixer can route its busses or direct outs to these digital ports, and youre gold.
now, for specifics, tell us what outs it has, and indicate your level of understanding as to how they work.
