OK.
I finally got tired of the noise from the analog stage going from my ADAT to my PC for burning CDs, so I got the ADAT PCR from Alesis to directly digital copy my data.
Problem - I can't find a solution that will allow me to edit and mix 20-bit 48kHz data.
I don't want to dither until the last possible step before going to CD. I can certainly switch to recording at 44.1kHz if I absolutely must (I'd prefer to record high and convert here as well), but I don't want to drop back to 16 bits.
Any suggestions?
