where to buy computer from?

Ok so I'm looking for a computer, i'm just starting out at an amateur level.
Can someone tell me good places to look for a computer and I live in England.
I've been looking on Ebay though i'm very reluctant to buy from a lot of the stores on ebay and Gumtree. I'm not bothered about new or used. Because i've been using a laptop for last four years i need everything. budgets in range of £200-£300 (not a lot I know).


I have seen one on ebay i thinks pretty damn decent for money, if someone could also give me their opinion on that, as well as any other shops or sites worth checking out. I would post link but Forum wont let me since i just joined. Thanks in advance.

Best place in England would be Scan.co.uk for new. For used, eBay and Gumtree are still about the best, so you're already looking in the right palces there. I'd be reluctant to buy used for computers too, but with the kinda budget you have, there isn't much you'll be able to get. See what you can put together on Scan.
