whats your favorite bass amp simulator?

currently i really like the sound of the IK mulitmedia ampeg SVX.

Oh BTW, I really enjoy the Ampeg SVX plug. There's not a lot of bass amp sims to choose from. I think IK did a great job with this one.

I have the SVX, I thought it was a nice collection for the money. Not sure how much I paid, but it was under $100.

Yeah the IK ampeg collection sounds good to me. I prefer hardware these days though.

I'm all on SVX, but there are some others. I've given up on outboard modeling after having four or five of them reveal unremediated bugs or else unceremoniously croak just sitting there.

Even the lowly BDI21 managed to go bad.

Guitar Rig has surprisingly got some great bass sounds. (I am primarily a guitar player though).

But it has really impressed a band I recorded with recently - They thought they bass would let the recording down .. but It actually ended up sounding amazing

I've heard good things about Ampeg and Trillian though.
