What should I get next?

I currently have a Focusrite 2i2, great A/I, btw.

Running into FL12 DAW.

Have a set of M-Audio. Shure SM57, and MXL 4000 cond. mic.

Couple of effect pedals.

What is your opinion would be the next purchase? Obviously I can record into my A/I, and into my DAW, but perhaps a mixer? Or new monitors? Curious.

I would suggest listing the things you would like to do but cannot with your present setup then make an upgrade list to meet those desires
 
Im leaning towards new monitors. And possibly a new keyboard/controller,(M-Audio keyboard(not working properly anymore, and I have an Akai MPKmini) and new VSTs.
 
The room treatment/monitor thing kinda goes hand in hand-good monitors wont help in a untreated room, can even make it worse. Unless you have a really GREAT room:rolleyes:
