I got one there too and I love it... they throw in a free copy of Samplitude Project, a "lite" version of Samplitude multitrack recording software... but I'm sure the Gadget Labs card is terrific too, and I think it comes with somebody's lite sw too.
I've been mulling over this same question for weeks now... I've decided to go with the Waves 4/96. The breakout box seems to be a little more well designed- It just looks more solid in the pictures (shut up doofus)
My main reasons are that Gadgetlabs has really good customer support (they got back to me in one day and and I don't even own one!) and I really like the way the cards are able to syc together. (I'll have two eventually- maybe soon at this price!) You just get this little $9 cable to hook them together and they share the same clock. (way smart!) Also the Waves 4/96 has an ADAT option while the the 44 dosen't- only Delta's 1010 has an an ADAT option. If I was going for an 8 input card then the 1010 would be my choice however...
