I am try to determine which is more cpu friendly.
I plan on using several vst's and Kontakt 5.
Do i record the midi using the vst's and then have the laptop play them back or do I record the vst output as audio and play it back that way?
I have a dell i7-4810 cpu @2.80 ghz running 64b win 10 with 32 gb ram.
also I am try to determine wich daw is better. I have trial versions of fl studio 12, cubase elements 9.5, abelton live 10, reason 10 limited, reaper, LMMS, Nano Studio, preSonus one, band in a box and cakewalk sonar.
Been trying to work a little with each, now working with Fl Studio.
Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.
thanx
