Using Firepod + AudioBox for monitoring

So, I needed a new way to record my drummer. Recording with scratch tracks feels un-natural and the drummer has a hard time keeping perfectly in time. So, I want to do it like a studio does it...you know, throw the amp in another room, mic it, throw the vocalist in another room, mic him.

Anyways, I want to use the Firepod to record the drums and then the AudioBox to push the guitar/vocals to the drummer. The Firepod is a firewire device while the AudioBox is a USB device. Am I going to notice any latency issues?

You can't use (and don't want to use) 2 different drivers at the same time under ASIO.

All you need is a headphone amp on the outs of the Firepod.

I want to use the eight inputs on the Firepod for the drums...and then two more inputs for vocals + instrument. I may not have made that clear in the original post.
