I've been on here a few times with regards to USB mixers and having done some research I'm still weighing up options. I am looking for a mixer to combine all my sound sources for practising, but would like USB connectivity to then record any ideas to my laptop. I want to be able to hear the sound sources through my monitors without having an interface connected to my laptop all the time.
Allen & Heath ZED-10 looked ideal for £169 - The max I can afford. Just wondered if a similar sized mixer combined with a dedicated USB interface would be a better bet? Not fussed about multi-track recording, so a simple 2 in/out is fine.
