What GPU are you using?
If you want to bug/feature test, take a disk utility image clone of your system drive first. Seriously. Do it.
You can't clone the disk you're running from so you'll boot the recovery tools and use disk utility from there.

I installed then went back to El Capitan. It seemed fine. I'm just not sure which I should stay with.
