Hey, I was wondering the possible options for me if I want to use protools but still want to use my 8 ins and control surface on my tascam fw-1082. I know my tascam interface has 2 firewire ports and I was wondering maybe if I bought the mbox to run pro tools I can plug one firewire into the mbox to sync both interfaces gaining access to both of the preamps on the mbox as well as mine on my tascam interface.
Is this possible or do I have use hte mbox by itself and im shit out of luck. I know I can use cubase but im trying to get pro tools becuase the studios at my school all run pro tools and it would be a lot better if I new my way around it.
