Wrong question.

That's as lazy as a rapper mic question. If you're operating at this level of inquiry, just go and get the most expensive one because you'll never know the difference and the industry might as well fleece you for as much as it can.

But if you're serious, think about what you want to accomplish with this gear. Will you be recording one or twenty tracks at once? What is your budget? What gear do you already have and what will you be using it with? Apple or PC? Are you in a studio or a living room? Give us some information to work with and you may find some helpful answers.

I voted Tascam US100, but I really meant the Tascam US1800. Its got a lot of inputs for only 300 smackeroos. I got it to work great with a mac book pro and cubase. I dunno, it sounds as good as the MOTU 24i I'd been using for the past 10 years.
