Hi, I am currently preparing to buy some recording equipment to record my band. I came across the Tascam US-122 audio interface, and was wondering if anyone else has one of these, and if they could tell me how they perform and sound? Thanks.

if you are recording a whole band and want to capture the individual instruments and vocalist while recording the band playing together, then the 122 obviously is not what you want.
i have the frontier design wavecenter/tango24 for doing multiple tracks.
i have the tascam us-428 for doing individual takes of instruments and vocals. i've spoken to the frontier design folks about the 122 and have a pretty good feeling about it based on the specs.
come on over to the tascam section that's where all the 122 talk is going on.
