i have a dell XPS, windows 7, 64bit, 4 gb laptop and have just bought a US-122mkii.
i can not get any sound from my US-122mkii. i've installed the provided drives and selected the device in the 'sound' section of the control panel as per the manual. if i open iTunes to test the Tascam and press play it seems to stall and won't even visually look like its playing ,ie. looking like the track is playing but the sound is switched to mute. as a second test i went on line to youtube, it will show moving pictures but has no sound. i don not get any of the general "windows sounds" coming from the computer.
i have headphone plugged in and the knob turned full to "computer", full volume on computer and tascam.
i hope this is a quick fix and i'm just being thick!?
