Sound Card Selection????

I originally was going to get the Wave 824 until I saw this. I asked GLabs how they would respond to this and they have no plans to do so.

What about Mona?? I am thinking of that or the digi001. They seem close spec wise. I like the flexibility and I want mic preamps.Only problem with digi001 is that you can't use DX plug-ins TDM plug-ins are around 500 ea. OUCH!

i'd reccomend checking out the echo cards. the 20-bit versions of the layla and gina (could have them wrong) have been marked down to 5-600 bucks, and the new layla24 (my choice, since i can use my own preamp) is 800 bucks. 8 24-bit analog ins.. mmmm.......
