Is the Sound Blaster Live a good sound card for audio recording or do i need a more expensive one? Its like $40 and records at up to 24bits. Someone recomended the Sound Blaster Audigy2 ZS Platinum but its $189 and im on a buget. Is a sound card necessary audio recording or just midi? When i do get the new sound card do i replace the one that comes with my computer with that one or do i just add the new one? Does studio moniter hook up directly to the sound card or to the mixer? I know ive got a lot of questions but Im just getting started.
