I was trying to record some stuff, my recording chain was the following:
Yamaha Synth > Korg Electribe Audio In > Tascam Us144mk2 Audio Interface > Cubase
Since I wasnt intending to record a deffinitive take, I just wanted to see how some instrument parts worked together I didnt sync the midi clock of my drum machine with cubase, I just entered the same BPM value on both
Wen I started recording something really really wierd happened:
Although audio interface led showed audio coming in no waves showed on cubase, plus metronome click went absulutely crazy In cubase. I was hearing the click trhu my headphones and spped just kept changing, the tone of the click changed, it even started playing some wierd patterns
I havent tried anything since then, it really freaked me out. Anyone knows what it could be?
