I just picked up a zoom r8 to use as an interface with Cubase le on a windows machine.
I'm not using the zoom as any kind of physical controller, it's strictly being used as an interface only.
The R8 comes with two manuals, one for using the unit as a standalone recorder and one for using it as an interface. The interface manual doesn't say how to set sample rate or bit rate.
The little screen does say it's on 44.1 but does not say if it's at 16 or 24 bit.
Just curious if anyone knows how to adjust the sample rate when using it as an interface only.
There are instructions in the manual for using the unit as a standalone recorder on how to set sample rate for projects to be saved on the unit, but not for use as an interface only.
