Seperating Trax?

My brother mixes techno and I borrowed a cd from him that doesnt have any trcks on it. My question is how do I split up the song into seperate trax so I can burn the only the ones I like? I have a CDRW and Adaptec's EZCD. Do I need better software?

I was reading this but it didnt go into any detail
"if you want an uninterrupted 55-minute dance mix, but still want to have track markers between tracks, you have to split the music into separate WAV files, not add any silence to them, put them into your CD layout as separate tracks, and burn in "disc-at-once" mode."

Try this

http://www.illustrate.org/music-converter.htm

encoder/decoder

wav to mp3
wav to wma
mp3 to wav
wma to wav
mp3 to wma
wma to mp3

With the right software you can chop up any wav you want.
This lets you convert an audio file from a cd and put on an editing type software.I don't know if this will help.
Have you tried adaptecs new cd burner sofware version?

http://www.goldwave.com - shareware wave editor

or any wave editor will work. Yes, you need to split the track up into multiple wave files and then burn them "disc at once" in ez cd creator.

There are much more expensive applications out there like WaveLab which will allow you to drop CD track markers and it'll burn the CD itself...but we're talking 700 bucks.
