SB PCI128 vs Live question

I have a SB PCI128 OEM and I’m thinking about update to a SB Live value. I'm only interested in digital recording, for midi I own a Yamaha SW60XG.

Is there any difference who really make interesting upgrade to a SB live value?.

Is there any difference between the SB live value and the SB live OEM.

Absolutely no difference between SBLive Value and SBLive OEM except the OEM comes in a envelope instead of a box, and does not have a warrenty registration card.
 
Ok, thanks for your answer. Do you know if the DSP of the Live is really better than the DSP of the pci128? Both are 48Khz, 16bits.
 
They are different chipsets and wave tables. I'm not sure that one is "better" than the other, but Creative have sold WAY more SBLive cards so support for that product will be better. I would go with the SBLive myself.
