Has anybody any clue how I'm able to control RME Digi9636's audio volume?
Yesterday volume was WAAAAAY too loud and I couldn't figure out where volume control was.

Don't know about the 9636, but I have a 9652 and you cannot control the volume. This is a digital only IO card. It doesn't have a mixer like a SB.

What does your manual says about it?

It says absolutely nothing about volume control.

Then the volume needs to be controlled externally - by, for example, a mixing board or other such device.

ssscientist is right. I own the digi9636 and have used it with and without analog output expansion boards. The output is, IIRC, standard line output level that is not adjustable by the card itself, but by the components it interfaces, such as a mixer.

Okay. Thanks guys. I have Behringer UB802 mixer, so this problem is solved.
Any suggestions how to connect mixer to sound card and monitors?
