Recording help

HI everyone,
I've run into a recording desire! I tried asking the Logic Pro forums but didn't get an answer.
What I'd like to achieve is a recording software that can record lets say 4 measures of keyboard and then after the 4 measures are up go immedaitly onto the next track in the line and begin recording. The reason why I need this is because I record on the fly and would like to seamlessly go onto the next track!
If no one knows it's no big deal...

Hi,
I don't know about a brand new track but ProTools will do this with playlists.
You set up playlists and loop record and, as far as I know, it'll just keep creating playlists the more you loop around.

I don't know if Logic has the same thing (I suspect so) but, at least, it might give you a more focussed search term.

Ableton is renowned for its ability to do things kind of like this. I'm not sure if this specific kind of task is in its feature set, but it'd be worth investigating. grab a free demo of it and see if it suits your needs.
