Problems with Windows XP using Pulsar2

Does someone know why many media & sound softwares like Windows Media Player, Wavelab, Soundforge & others behave strangely with Creamware Pulsar2 (Scope) system?
Every time I press "STOP" or "PAUSE" or it reaches the end of an audio file, the sound jumps, just like a car brake. This is annoying & so unproffetional. It never happened with Windows 95/8 with poorer soundcards. Is there any way to prevent this?
The vendor of the Pulsar told me it's just like this.
Could it be he is right?
Did I spend so much money to work with unproffetional stuff?
Thenks for your replies,
Itay.
