Problem with TSE Audio's TSE808 Plug-in

I recently downloaded TSE Audio's Tubescreamer clone plug-in (it's free), but I can't seem to find it in Reaper's plug-in window. I've tried copying the .component file into the AU folder and the .vst file into multiple VST folders (I have one where I put downloaded plug-ins that's been added to Reaper's search path), but nothing works.

Does any one use this plug-in and if so can you give me any ideas on what I need to do to make it show up? I'm running OS X 10.10.5 on a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Mac Mini with 4GB of RAM.

Found some new info, the AU version of the plug-in shows up in Studio One 2, but not the VST. Maybe there's something wrong with the actual file? I've downloaded it twice.

the TSE808 shows up just fine for me in Studio One v2. did you download the correct bit rate version that corresponds to your DAW´s bit rate? for example my S1 is 64bit so i have to use the 64bit version of the 808, otherwise it won´t work.
