Pro Tools Bouncing

I don't know if anyone will be able to answer this but I have a quick question regarding Pro Tools. For some reason when I use the "bounce to disk" command it makes me listen to the entire audio file as it bounces. This can get very annoying when you have a very long file. Is there anyway that anyone knows of that will let me bounce without listening to it. I know it can be done I just dont know how.

It cant be done if you are bouncing more then one track to disk.

What you can do is export single files or a bunch of files but they will not be mixed together.

Are you sure that this isn't possible? I have Pro Toold on my laptop and lets me do it. Why is this so? Should my laptop be doing this or is it just on crack?
