Pro Tools 9 Track Colour Shows Different in Mix Window?

I'm using Pro Tools 9, and no matter what I colour my tracks as, they ALWAYS show as black in the mix window. Why? and how can I change this?

Go to preferences and copy my settings for color coding.

I temporarily set default clip color coding to 'none', and it made all the edit window tracks dark grey/black.

It is the best function in Pro Tools and the only one you really have to know.
You can't work without colors.

It's actually very handy to group things by colour, especially when you're flicking between edit and mix windo....
never mind.

I now call the "Mix Window" "The Art Gallery" since I only switch to it to watch the colorful pretty things.
