Hi,
I've been recording into an M-Audio MobilePre for a few months.
I finally got the money to buy a FireStudio Project and then when I plug it into my monitors...
There's a god-awful hum!
It's too loud to be considered normal!
Is there anything that newbs usually do wrong when they get their first good interface?
Any and all help will be appreciated!
Thanks
Edit: I have attempted disconnecting and reconnecting the firewire, from both my macbook and my FSP, it's still there. I'm fairly sure it's probably ground-related.
Any tips on how to get rid of this?
