PreSonus Firepod / PreSonus DigiMax 96k.

I own a Firepod, but I was just curious.. is the DigiMax 96k like a Firepod but with hella better mic pre's, and just overall better? Or is it different completely? Someone explain, please. =) Thank you.

The digimax is only a mic preamp, and the Firepod is an audio interface. The Digimax runs output via an ADAT signal, which unfortunately the Firepod doesn't have. If you wanted to use the Digimax in a computer DAW setup, you would need to get a card that has ADAT ins.
