not a RECORDING question-a MICROSOFT FAX question

I've been trying to get microsoft fax up and running and I keep getting an internal mapi error!!There is meant to be a fax and mail icon in control panel(according to insructions) but there ain't none of that I have outlook express which is meant to work with microsoft fax...I told my wife that everyone at home recording could work out any problem,so our reputation is on the line

What version of windows are you using? Is microsoft faxed installed? If not go add/remove programs in the controlpanel. Go to windows setup (may be called add remove windows components). Look for microsoft fax and check the checkbox if the checkbox's not checked Now you should se the fax in the control panel.
