need a small amp for monitors & my soundcard's xlr output

just picked up a lynx L22, unforunately the only output on the analog breakout cable is 2x XLR in and 2x XLR out

currently i am doing all my monitoring via headphones. in the near future i am planning on buying some monitors

so i was thinking the smart thing to do would be to find a quality amp i can use to power my monitors later, and in the meantime to run a 1/4" headphone out so i can hear what the lynx is doing.

otherwise, i am having to use the motherboards stock sound device to hear anything ive recorded with the lynx. this takes up extra resources and also doesnt help me during playback of big recording projects, because the stock sound device is handling the audio load, not the lynx.

thanks for your help! you guys rock

Many headphone distribution amps have XLR in/through. Go XLR out from the Lynx into the headphone amp, and from the headphone amp out to the monitors.

anyone know of a headphone amp that is reasonably priced that has xlr's? everything i find only has 1/4"s

thanks !!!

Any headphone amps I've used have a pair of inputs.
Left and right, both balanced - TRS.

You'd need two XLR to TRS cables.
