I'm looking to put together a computer for home use, but one that can also receive files via S/Pdif optical from my Korg D8, for backing-up to cd.
Are there any "simple" (read cheaper) soundcards that have optical in's & out's. ( Oh, one other thing, it needs to run at 44.1khz, ... sample rate conversion will ruin my chances of doing back-ups.) Brands, models, etc, would be much appreciated.
