Motu ultralight and Mackie Onyx 1620

Hi,

I have a motu ultralight and a Mackie Onyx 1620. How would you hook them up to get the most out of both?

They are both Firewire devices AFAICS so if you have a mac you can I understand run both units and enjoy all the tracks?

If PC not sure. If you need more mic inputs than the mixer gives you I dare say the MOTU can run "stand alone" as a mic pre amp?
