Mixer for in and out??

Gonna get me a delta 44, just wondering if i can use my mixer to mix in and out signals, i.e use the main mix for input signals, thenput the outs of the 44 into one channel of my mixer, then use that channels sub group to send to my stereo(will be replaced by monitors soon)

Im not really sure what you are asking. You will need your mixer for the mic pre's. If your mixer has inserts on the back, use them as direct outs to your soundcard. Then, if you are going to use a stereo for monitoring (like most of us have in the past), I would just go from the soundcard directly to the stereo.
