Mixer help

My soundcard doesn't support input monitoring (Terratec Phase22), although it should. So I decided to keep my nerves and not go through the "support marry-go-round"...

Now I need a "real" mixer to monitor the line-ins... My card has god 2 inputs...

Which small mixer would you reccomend?

+what does "high-headroom line inputs" mean?

Have a look at the Yamaha MG10/2. Nice 2 bus mixer for under $100

I need to be able to connect my soundcard's stereo out to the mixer, and send 1 input (where I'll connect the guitar) from the mixer to the soundcard's line in...

I have the UB802 and it would work fine for what you are doing. The Yamaha MG 10/2 is a better mixer but it is about double the price.

This may seem like a stupid question... But how do you mean "a better mixer"? Is the sound quality better, or does it have more features/options (besides the obvious larger number of inputs)?

The Yamaha mixer has a little better preamps as well as more features IE[ channel inserts,2 aux sends,more channels].
