Thanks for the info on this. Did you happen to see my question regarding the outputs? I added it as an edit, and I think you may have answered it before the edit showed up.

I am going to assume yes (main outputs) and would think they are routed inside the DAW as an output selection. I have just never really tried it. On the SPDIF, I think that is for round trip only between something like a reverb or compressor or CD player. That to me is the one down side to the 1800 which was changed in the US16. I picked up a pre-amp from Jimmy that had a SPDIF output, so I could use channel 15/16.
