I am looking for Fast Track Ultra 8R and Tascam US-16X08 owners. Just need some help from you. It will take only 10 minutes of your time. I am thinking about to buy one of these device for voice recording (not for music/DAW). But I am running some specific software know as ProScan. No way to use another software, so I should be sure in multichannel recording support. This software supports only WaveIn Devices/MME, and it's very important point.
I am just need a 2 screenshots taked from your PC with Fast Track Ultra 8R or Tascam US-16X08 (but before proceed, please install, plug and run your M-Audio Fast Track Ultra 8R and Tascam US-16X08):
1. Device Manager (My Computer > Properties > Device Manger; with 'Sound, Video & Game controllers' menu unfolded)
2. ProScan software (ProScan > Audio Control > Recorder > Input Sound Device pull-down menu). Link for software D/L; http://www.proscan.org/ProScan_7_8.zip (It just 2 MB and works in Demo mode 30 days).
