Looking for a DAW which allows the use of a background image (.jpg)

I have been using Ableton Live 8 for a few years now and I have recently decided that I want to try drawing inspiration as I write from photos and images from the web. I want to test myself as I am a visually creative person and a blank grey platform as I write gives little inspiration for me.
I can't see how to do this in Ableton as it stands, so does anyone know of any other DAWs which might have this option? Or even better yet, a way to do this in Ableton?
