1) I'm re-building my home studio. I'm using a Mac platform and generally write along the vibe of heavy metal-ish guitar music also with some symphonic scoring and EDMish type stuff on the side.
2) I have very few plug-ins so I'd be relying mostly upon the native plugins to the DAW for the time being.
3) I am interested in good/intuitive drum programming. I used to use Logic a few years back but I wasn't really sold on the drum editor at that time but that was awhile ago so I'm not sure if there have been improvements since then. I've heard Cubase has a good drum editor.
Do you guys have any advice between these two similarly priced DAWs?
