I'm running an AMD 1.2GHz, 512 MB Ram, and an Audiophile 24/96. I'm new to computer-based recording and I just began playing around w/n-track. I'm experimenting w/the "Live" function (w/no effects). There's a lag b/t what I play on my turntable and what I hear through my monitor. It's critical that I hear the record in real time b/c the latency throws off my scratching. I've tried playing w/the buffer size and rate as suggested in the help menu, but there's still a lag. I think my computer is fast enough to handle the load but I'm still getting the lags.
