Latency Problems

Hello everyone. I just bought a Digi001 and I am getting alot of latency....about .5 to 1 second. It is just me recording on it so I do alot of overdubs. It really throws me off with the latency factor. What can I do to get rid of that? Someone told me something about decreasing my buffer size. I dont know much about this so any help would be much appreciated. Thanx in advance

Well when I was using ProTools FREE, I would mute the track that I was recording on, and it would work fine. Lowering the Buffer size will also help but don't go too low; you'll notice an issue if you go to low and all you have to do is adjust it right.

If you record with a mixer buy a small headphone splitter run leads from main output to computer lead from headphone mixer output into headphone splitter with lead from computer, you will then get signal from mixer and computer spot on.

Impressive, very nearly 14 years between posts. I think we have a Necroposter of the Month. Oh, and welcome to the forum.
